The Martlets Shopping Centre is owned and managed by NewRiver REIT.

NewRiver endeavours to work with and within the Burgess Hill community to promote, improve and enhance the town, its assets and its people. Its strategy will focus on the promotion of retailing employment together with the support of cultural, leisure and sporting activities.

NewRiver will seek to help reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and continue to provide a clean and safe shopping environment. NewRiver actively seeks to promote energy efficiency and the use of renewables and will endeavour to support sustainable transport through the promotion of public transport and by encouraging walking and cycling.
